Weekly Review

Wow a little late night burger run just about became the most expensive burger run ever as I got busted by the fuzz for not coming to a complete stop at the residential area stop sign.  I got lucky though and came away with only a warning.  So that effectively ended my week.  Since it was Thanksgiving week a lot of stuff happened this week.  Did the Turkey day noms with the family did a bit of Black Friday shopping and had my weekend plans completely fall apart.  And it all ended with party lights in rear view mirror. 

Up until Thanksgiving it was a pretty normal week did the work thing, rendered some more of the autocross videos (finally done rendering them just need to upload the last of them) and yeah nothing special.  With Thanksgiving day I picked up grandma and took her out to my parents house for Thanksgiving day noms with the whole family so their house was pretty dang packed but it was good food and good company.  Took grandma home and took a nap before I headed back off to work for the night. 

Friday morning was of course Black Friday and while I couldn't get out to hit up all the cool deal I still picked up another SDHC 8gb card for the camcorder.  I also picked up a new flat panel tv as well.  I picked up the $98 Wally world special... er the 19" Sansui TV and an HDMI cable.  I went looking for a toolbox as well but nothing looked good to me.  I'm really happy with the TV as I'm not borrowing my roommate's old one and once again I have a TV with a sleep function and the ability to have multiple things plugged into the TV at once.  Oh and I guess the whole HD thing is pretty nice as too.  That was more than enough money spent for the week I thought.

This week I also finally got the sticker bomb book that I ordered some time ago so that means the wink mirror and trunk were sticker bombed this week as well.  You can see some examples on my flickr.  The wink mirror and the trunk.    Not only did I grab some pictures of the freshly sticker bombed Jetta but I did fiinally drag out some of the other stuff that I needed to photography like the Tin Type pictures that I inherited lately. They are all pictures of family or places important to family.  After that I also snapped some pictures of the Vivitar 250SL camera that I also inherited.  I finally figured out how to open the back of the camera I just need to find some film for it and give the old thing a whorl.

Of all the things I planned on getting done this weekend those pictures were about all I was able to finish.  Thanks to sleeping way to late on Saturday and then heading out to a house party. as a DD. Sunday was just about as bad.  Slept all day watched TV and well yeah the whole party lights thing.  Finishing up the week without a nice big fat ticket was good. 

Oh and don't forget the Toyota GT86 (FT86's new name) was introduced to the the Japanese automotive press this weekend as well. And there are a good few videos of it out there.


I really dislike Corvettes and some of their owners and this is an example why


Some times you just wish Animated Game openings were actual Anime series...
