Weekly Review

Another quit and normal week last week.  One girl quiet at work so the next couple weeks work schedule will be interesting and I'll be working the holidays so yeah on the pay but boo on the days off.  Seriously I don't have two days off in a row for the next three weeks.  But hey I still have a job so that's a good thing.  But it's not all about work as I get ready for Christmas and the new year. 


Of course this week sorta sucked ass for me as I ended up with the stuffy noise, cough and fuck I feel like shit cold that comes with the lovely inversion weather that we've had in Boise this last couple weeks.  Of course I got this cold in part from going to the pick a part junk yard looking for parts for the Jetta and I ended up coming home with a new stereo and some trim pieces for the car. 

I was able to get the radio installed and set up for the most part.  I ran into trouble with the wiring and even though I got everything matched up with the old and new wiring harness it seems like something is a bit off as the radio can be turned on with out having the key in the ignition and turned on.  Some what good and some what bad really.  Going to have to do some more research and find a way to fix that in the long run but at least now I have a radio in the car and I wont have to go though a ton of batteries using the old MP3 player. 

I also changed out the Voltage regulator again and I think I will have to replace the alternator sometime and the belt.  And I'm going to have to figure out if I need to replace the windshield wiper motor or the electric stalk that operates the motor as I keep blowing out the fuse any time I try to use the wipers on the on position.  I can use them on intermittent setting with no problem and can even use the washer setting with no problems so I really think it's the stalk that is causing the issue.

So yeah this week was mostly working on the car gift wrapping some presents sending out Christmas cards and being sick.  And that was it for the week.  I'll leave you with some videos from the week that I feel like sharing.
