Winter 2011/12 Anime Season

The winter season has already sort of started (with OVA releases and what not but the meat and potatoes start a little later)  so I really need to get my watch list out now and hey here it is.  It's looking like it'll be an interesting season filled with horror, harem and kids in big robots and of course the obligatory fanservice rich OVA specials and series which I'll be looking forward to like everyone else.

So to begin with I found my information about many of the upcoming season from a few places like moetron, The Animenation News Blog, The cartdriver anime chart and his charming and by charming I mean sarcastic and awesome writing styles on his blog.  Seriously my Anime Season watch list doesn't hold a candle to his.  That being said after looking though all of that watching some previews this is what I've decided to check out on those long cold winter nights.  And like always I'm skipping the movies because why talk about something that I wont be able to watch for another year or so.

Anime Series --
Black Rock Shooter:  Already watched the OVA so I'm really excited to see how the short series will be. I'm expecting a lot out of this one and I hope I don't regret it.

Bodacious Space Pirates:  Already blogged about this one when I first heard about it.  Still looks interesting and fun.

Highschool DxD:  Already blogged about this one as well.  This will be the fanservice rich guilty pleasure more than likely.

Kill Me Baby:  OK this one looks like it will be a silly and dumb series and that's why I'm going to give it a shot.

Nisemonogatari:  Oh yeah they are back and the twin sisters are taking center stage this go round.

Rinne no Lagrange:   This is the girls with the mechs that I was talking about.  There are a few more but this is the one that I'm interested in checking out.

Senhime Zesshou Symphogear:  Long name for something I only just heard about but am nonetheless still interested in checking out.

Zero no Tsukaima:  I'm invested in seeing this to the end thanks to MoNAC and since MoNAC is taking a break still I'll have to watch this on my own.

OVAs slash SPECIALs --
Aria: Just an extra DVD/BD episode is all.
Just watched it horror episode at the hotsprings no trailer though

Basketarmy:  It's going to be one of those super short (like 3 minutes per episode) web shows but perhaps it'll be a very cool anime that'll be worth watching.
Unsubbed first episode -- someone sub this dang it.


Carnival Phantasm:  Will be back with more short OVA hilarity.  Can't miss it.

Gyo:  Holy Shit Fish walk on land and eat people Scifi horror run amuck.  Still looks interesting

Toradora:  O..M..G... yes there is a special episode being released with the new BD collection.  Can't wait to see it.
