Happy New Year 2012

Holy Jeez where did the time go.  Doesn't feel like it's already been a year since I did one of these.  Can't say I'll miss 2011 though.  Definitely looking forward to a better 2012 even if it will bring with it the end of the world (12/21/2012).  And while 2011 was the year of the rabbit and it brought with it lots of lovely ladies in bunny outfits 2012 is the year of the Dragon (Black Water Dragon to be precise) and there is a surprising lack of fanservice so far.

While the Chinese New Year doesn't start until January 23, 2012 this is what the year of the Dragon has in store for use.

While the Year of the Rabbit was characterized by calm and tranquility, the Year of the Dragon will be marked by excitement, unpredictability, exhilaration and intensity. The Rabbit imbues people with a sense of cautious optimism, but people respond to the spirit of the Dragon with energy, vitality and unbridled enthusiasm, often throwing all caution to the wind – which can be an unwise move: The Dragon is all about drama but if you take unnecessary risks, you may find yourself starring in your own personal tragedy.

So yeah this year is supposed to be interesting to say the least and while I'm not a believer in fortunes and what not I really do hope that 2012 will bring about a turn around of events for people and that we can get out of our current slump.  Lets face it or the most part the tranquil year of the Rabbit just sorta sucked for the most part.

To end I just want to say that nope I haven't made in New Year's Resolutions but I'll be updating my goals list here in a while.  I hope you all had a safe and happy New Year's celebration and here's to a great 2012.
