Weekly Review

I'd say it would be pointless to do last week's weekly review now since it's already Wednesday but I figure I might as well do it now so I don't forget what happened last week.  OK so it's most work sleep and eat but there was some cool stuff as well.  And so far this week has been interesting as well.  Heck it's actually snowing for the first time this season. Biggest reason why this review is late is due to the Tokyo Auto Salon and everything I was researching for it.

So last week was another week of wondering what was going to happen at work.  Found at that both Idaho and Wellsfargo were taking them court this week (in fact they would have been in court today with Wellsfargo and tomorrow we may be owned by them) and we have been dealing with a way huge shortage of people and money which brought us to this week when we got paid on Tuesday with the express instructions to get it cashed NOW, because more than likely the bank accounts will be frozen as early as Wednesday.  So I got paid early but I'm sitting on the money just in case something happens but hopefully nothing will.  So work has been interesting to say the least. 

Thankfully the weekend was a bit better as Idaho Motorsports had their annual Best of the Year meet and finally after three years I actually won for videographer of the year for my work filming autocross.  Next year I'll have to work on the photography side of things a bit more.  Of course my car had to act up a bit before heading out as apparently the trunk on the car hadn't been completely closed allowing the light to say on draining the battery just enough to not allow the car to start.  FFFFFUUUUUU.... not knowing that the trunk wasn't closed made me wonder what the hell was going on.  I but the battery charger on it to test the voltage and the alternator and managed to charge the battery just enough to get the car started.  Hell yeah! 

So yeah it was an interesting weekend.  Then the week started over and we got to the interesting work thing and then finally mother nature let loose with the first winter storm and signification snow fall collecting some 6" of snow before it decided to switch over to rain for the rest of the day.  In fact it is still raining outside so it's going to be an interesting drive to work tonight and an even more interesting drive home in the morning.  

In all the middle of that was the Tokyo Auto Salon which kept me busy for a lot of the time during the weekend which as you know caused this to be very late.  There has just been a ton of videos hitting YouTube from the event and they are still coming out. 


I can not get enough of the Hino Dutro X booth and apparently neither can anyone else


VW will be back at the Superbowl but before that there is this
