The cute little ladies with airplane legs and animal features will be hitting the big screen this spring in Japan with their own Silver Screen movie feature. That's right the Strike Witches are back with guns blazing for their theatrical release on March 17, 2012. Here's a little blurb about the movie. In 1945, Yoshika Miyafuji, who lost her witch powers during the Strike Witches' last assignment, has been studying to become a doctor. Shizuka Hattori, one of her cadets in the Imperial Fuso Navy, then arrives to deliver a message: Yoshika is to be transferred for study abroad in Europe.
To be honest I'll be looking forward to the day (probably a good year after the movie release) that I'll be able to check out the movie my self as I rather enjoyed the series and wont mind more screen time for Charlotte "Bunny" Yeager.
