Weekly Review

Another week another month another...hey I got my Federal Refund Deposit...  Yeah that's what I liked about last week.  A nice $600 bump only it kinda sucked because oh hey look we still haven't gotten our last check from the previous hotel management company.  So the refund hasn't gone as far as it should have and I'm still waiting for the State refund as well even if that one is going on the CC to pay off some stuff I already got and said I was going to use the refund for.  Oh and it was Superbowl weekend as well.

Ok so work it's been a little better but last night there was a water leak from the 3rd floor all the way down to the lobby area.  Great, and it's like what probably the third or fourth time we've had a bad water leak issue.  Still having issues with that last pay check but who knows maybe it'll get it self worked out. Other than that and almost no guests it's been fun let me tell you.  Hopefully it all picks back up and the new company can get things back on track and we start filling up with guests again.

Thankfully though I did part of my tax refund deposited on Friday morning and I did a bit of shopping for things that I needed and wanted.  I bought a remote flash trigger set up that will help me get some better pictures I just have to decide if I buy a silver umbrella or a better bounce umbrella because I'm sure the all white one wont work so well for the picture quality that I'm looking for.  I also bought a new Porsche diecast car some OG JDM stickers and just a few anime DVD's and BD including Redline, Eva 1.11, Mardock Scramble and finally the Venture Brother's Vol 2 of the fourth season.  And some other random stuff that I can't think of at the moment.  Money well spent for the most part and I still have a good chunk left over to spend on some awesome diecut stickers for my car blog.  I just have to get off my lazy ass and get them ordered.

Cleaned up the house in preparations for the Superbowl party at the house and had a good time even though I couldn't really have to much fun since I was doomed to working that night.  The game was good and the commercials were well they were OK I had already seen some of them already so that really didn't help me out  for being excited for them.  I was going to post all the car related ones to my Facebook page but got real tired of that real fast.  I ended up not even having a favorite commercial even. Oh well it was still fun having everyone over.
