How can an awesome show like Nisemonogatari have such a cute and innocent second opening and yet be such a naughty naughty show. OK so it's not really that naughty like naked fanservice all over the place naughty, no these BLANKmonogatari shows were never about that but more about the over abundance of word play banter and innuendo to make even rude sailors scratch their heads. But then that's what we love about SHAFT and their twisted little ways when it comes to Bakemonogatari and now Nisemonogatari the sequel to the first season that focuses on the stories of Araragi Koyomi's two younger sisters. Both with their own supernatural issues that are of course solved by their older brother and his immortal shadow vampire loli sidekick.
But is it really done at 11 episodes? The first series wasn't finished when it first finished. I'd like to see more Senjougahara (love the short haired version ) after all. But I guess the teenage Oshino, Shinobu wasn't a bad treat at the end either. Can't wait to see her movie that's for sure. So yeah it was definitely more of the same so if you liked Bakemonogatari you'll love Nisemonogatari just don't expect it to be licensed in the states as the first one hasn't yet which is a damn shame really. Although if you haven't watched it yet you can still catch it on Crunchyroll for now.
