So while my birthday party on Saturday was a big hit the rest of the week was pretty dull. Work was work can't think of anything interesting that happened there. On Friday I visited with my grandma and parents got my birthday moneys (and paycheck) and did a little shopping picked up the Darth Vader ice tray the other used copies of High School of the Dead (now I have up to Vol 4) I all most didn't get the last used copy because I thought it was the same price and wanted some more money to buy something else than I picked it up and looked at the price and saw that it was $1.99 so got it anyways. I also picked up a BD copy of the Eva 2.22 movie so yeah happy about that.
Saturday was supposed to be a regular hey it's getting nice out lets have a BBQ so I was cleaning the house and everything. Roommate came home with a giant Red Velvet cake (second favorite neck to carrot Cake) and as it turns out it was actually a somewhat surprise Birthday party/BBQ so that was cool. Had a good time. Before all this I had also gone out to eat lunch with a fellow MoNACer for his birthday as well. Had some good food at a new place for me.
Saturday was a great day. On Sunday I finally got my butt in gear and and added a new trim piece to the Jetta on the rear trunk to hide the horribly faded paint (need to take the car out and take some pictures). Got it done pretty fast and easily. Also picked up a new thermostat for it as well since the car likes to over heat in traffic unless I have the heater on. Spent the rest of the day rendering and uploading Autocross videos wondering when the heck I was ever going to finish them. But I did finish them on completely (uploaded) Tuesday morning. Took forever. Didn't help any when I was taking days off to do other things though. Another thing I took time off for was a small Idaho Motorsports mini meeting at the Yokozuna Teriyaki place so hung out there for a while shooting the shit.
And that's the end of the week. I'm a year older I have some new stuff and I had a good weekend. I even got some sun....and no sunburn. So lets check out some videos I found this week.
