Weekly Review

All right I'm not to far off the mark this week with the weekly review post so lets get this thing going.  It's no surprise to any one that the week didn't have much going on besides the ever boring work.  Then we have the weekend and that's where all the fun is.  It wasn't as crazy as last weekend but hey at least I got some photo and car time in.  I also took up the RQ Team feature on the car blog again so if you're missing the Foxy Friday feature well there you go.

The first RQ Team feature was on the lovely ladies of Team Racing Miku and you should head over to the car blog to check that out.  It's kinda lacking in the picture links but I'll probably fix that later this week while working on the next team which I'm thinking will be the Dechae Girls for Team ASpeed.

Anyways back to my week.  The work week was boring as usual and I didn't get anything really accomplished during the week.  I did get the lawn mower blade off to get it sharpened but by the time I got that done and was looking for a place to sharpen it everything was closed until Monday so I didn't get that taken care of until this morning and when I got back I tested it out on the front and side yard.  A sharp blade makes all the difference.  I also did a bunch of wee killing during the weekend.  We got some monster dandelion weeds growing in our yard.  Opus would have a hay day but fuck it makes the yard look like shit.

Saturday was a good day though.  Was looking forward to the evening so that we could head out to a little super secret photoshot for a friend's car and project.  Went out a bit earlier than needed as the shadows cast were long but I got some good ones I thought as the sun was going done.  Now that I'm thinking about it we should have done the rolling shots first and then headed back for the regular shots but in the end it all worked out.  For my troubles I got a new Steering wheel for the Jetta.  You can check out the pictures on this set -- Scirocco and Trailer.

With that done I found out on Sunday that it's actually a really easy job to remove the steering wheel on the Jetta as it really does mean only removing one 15/16th nut and removing the steering wheel.  It was nothing like having to remove the steering wheel of the Lumina which required a rented puller.  So something I could have done really early in the day didn't get done until really late (was waiting for it to cool down).  I really love the new steering wheel and I was able to align it correctly so no more holding the steering wheel at a slight tilt to the left to go straight.  It also feels so much better as it's a straight steering wheel as well.  Here's a comparison between the two Steering Wheels OLD and Busted. NEW Hotness.

And with that the week came to an end and we are starting over with a new week.  Until the end of it how about some videos that I've seen during the week that I thought were cool.

Have another awesome Porsche video...

last year's Racing Miku Race Queens

Jlug magazine always has some interesting videos

A short trailer for a short movie.  Pretty bad ass looking though
