Weekly Review

Oh hey looks like I haven't done much more than the the weekly review for a while now.  Should change that.  Thankfully there has been cool stuff popping up on YouTube and we have a new Toonami to write about and I finished a series that I need to blog about before they release a new season of it. And I got some things done this weekend as well.

The work week was typical and we've gotten pretty much the hang of things even though the breakfast part has taken on a new look and I get the joy of preparing waffle batter for the morning and some other stuff.  The first day was a messed up matter entirely though.  Still need to find a good rhythm to work it all in so I still have some time to watch more anime at work.

With work done I had the entire weekend to work on the Jetta as the Roommate took off to Cali for some Magic tournament.  Should have cleaned up the house a bit as well but hey I can do that today.  No I spent the weekend doing some odds and ends fixing on the car.  Still haven't fixed the damn screeching belts as I still can't get the damn bolt loose.  Stupid round soft metal bolts.

So what did I do with the Jetta this time.  Well as soon as I write up the latest Project Jetta blog post on the car blog you can read all about it.  But until then I banged out the dent in the lower grill body panel and painted it matte black. I changed the bulbs in the headlights.  Repaired the shift level and finally I changed out the radiator fan thermoswitch and found out I also need to replace the relay switch as well.

I'm going out in the morning to snap some pictures after I wash the car.  I'd go get that relay switch but the place that would probably have it will be closed for Memorial Day so for that I'll have to wait until Tuesday but I can still go take some pictures.

And with that well it's time for some videos.  And holy hell I just realized that I was spelling Kotono's name wrong when I was poster her videos the other week.

New trailer for the CGI Starship Troopers Movie.  Just hope the story is as good as the CGI looks.

Don't exactly know what this is about yet but it's from the same guy who did Time of Eve and I enjoyed that series so this might be promising.

It's not really new but it's a remake of the last Ken Block video without the Hollywood stuff.  Which means it's that much better.

Some cute Asian ladies at an off roader car show.

Hellaflush Kansai was this week as well...
