So yeah work has been work got paid this weekend and it kinda sucked because instead of getting a $25 bonus they took out $25 as an advance. So they owe everyone at work $50 now because of that and we have to wait until the next check.
Of course that's only the tip of the iceberg of the crap that has just been driving me nuts. They expect us to do more laundry saying oh you have 8 hrs to do laundry you should be able to get a ton of it done. Yeah but what about the rest of the work I have to do too. Then there is all the small little stupid shit things the new manager is doing that is just annoying but meh life goes on. It's the stupid people who have no respect for anyone else when it comes to doing things in the hotel. Just want to smack people for running in the hall being loud and annoying as they walk down the halls and the other just random dumb shit things people do while they are here.
Thankfully Friday arrived and I went home to enjoy my busy three day weekend. I was going to just kick back and relax on Friday but that plan went out the window when I found out that a fellow forum member passed away suddenly during a traffic accident on Thursday afternoon. It didn't hit me as hard as a lot of other Forum members but it still just sucked the life out of Friday. So to celebrate the ol' chaps life I killed off a bottle of good Tequila and made a big ol' pitcher of frozen margaritas and drank to his memory on Friday while I prepared for a rigorous outing on Saturday.
Now Saturday got me pumped as it was time for the annual local Porsche Hillcross event on Bogus Basin Rd. I was geared up and ready for some excitement but I wasn't expecting some of the awesome Porker cars that showed up. Two new cars that I haven't seen in the area showed up a 997 GT3 and second gen 996 GT2 that was fully prepped to do battle. The local favorite yellow 930 turbo showed up as well. I was a happy camper. I finished the photos from the event and you can check them out here -- Bogus Basin Bacchanalia. That event killed me though as I walked from one corner to another to get different views on video. My leg still hurts and I did get a bit burnt as well but all in all I had a good time up there and got my fill of Porsche cars. Even got home at a decent time. Took a cold shower and took a nap. Sunday rolled around and I headed out again this time to Nampa for the annual Bus Pilots Family Reunion car show. A car show mostly for Volkswagens but some other stuff can be entered as well. I was still feeling worn out from the day before so I didn't stay for more than an hour and half. Long enough to get most of the cars there and check things out. You can find the pictures from the car show here -- Family Reunion Car Show.
Got back home and killed off the last of the frozen margarita mix and tequila in the house while editing the rest of the pictures. Talked to the roommate who went to Seattle for a car show there and he ended up getting stuck with a broken clutch bracket that they don't have in stock so he's there until Wednesday. Could be worse I guess but that is the suck of suck. Tomorrow I start in on the videos from the Porsche Hillcross event so that will be interesting to see how long that takes. Some 100 20 second clips to edit together.
During the week I did get a chance to watch a few clips here and there on YouTube as well as some more anime. Can't believe I'm almost finished with a few of the better anime series of the past two seasons. But here are some videos that I liked from this week.
This video has nothing to do with anything but holy hell did I laugh and honestly I always wanted to see one of those bark collars in action.
BMW did an awesome take on the high speed bullet shot
Even more awesome screen time from the Blood-C movie
Found an interesting Race Queen channel from CSnet
