Ikkitousen XX...

X? Have you been missing the gaggle of girls from Ikkitousen lately? The new crop of fighting girl anime series just not the same as those high kicking clothes tearing school girls with a penchant for a bit of Yuri gropping. Well good news, you're in luck because it has been announced in the latest Comic GUM magazine that there will indeed be an upcoming FOURTH season of Ikkitousen called Ikkitousen XX (short for Xtreme Xecutor).

It's been noted that the series will probably start in April for the Spring 2010 anime season (yup it's already on my list to watch) but before that there will be an early promotional release of an "Episode 0" disk for us to ogle and check out at Comiket 77.

What I know about the new season so far is that it will be an original story and not part of the manga series (it'll take off after GG) and will even add a new character to the mix. Oh and since it is Ikkitousen you'll definitely be getting a good deal of yuri flavored fanservice and more than likely some good clothes ripping fights.

Enjoy a bit of girl on girl fighting with the Great Guardians Trailer:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day! Happy day before insane sales day! Happy one month away from Christmas day. Last but not least Happy Thanksgiving may you have a fun and enjoyable time with your family a peaceful weekend to enjoy time with friends, family and all those other crazy shoppers out there looking for a great deal.

Since Thanksgiving isn't really celebrated in Asia I really don't have any awesome anime or Asian idols dressed up in hottie naughty Native Amerian or Pilgram garb to treat you with. I did find this interesting short video of a cute American Asian girl and I'm also going to include another awesome video of my favorite idol Aki Hoshino for your entertainment.

Since it is Thanksgiving I'd just like to take this time to thank all the readers of my blog. I'm also thankful for my family and friends for all the great times had enjoyment had during the year. I'm also thankful for still having a job it may suck at times and I may swear up and down about some of the stupid crap that goes on but with this economy I'm just glad I get to go to work and earn a living. Now on to those cute ladies.

Bunny Mina as an "Indian" Princess

The ever lovely Aki Hoshino

Halo Legends: The Duel

Another Saturday another Halo Legends release. This last Saturday saw the release of the second story in the Halo Legends series and is a look back at the history of the Arbiter and the warrior elites. This one I didn't like as well as the first one but that may be due to the YouTube low quality video that I watched so my final decision will have to wait for the DVD version.

Halo Legends: The Duel is the story done by Production I.G and features a unique anime style that I haven't ever seen before but with the crappy YouTube quality it didn't actually look all that good. I'm sure it'll look much better with DVD quality video.

The story is what you could call a classic Samurai tail featuring an old warrior facing overwhelming odds and a heavily armored Samurai looking main enemy all to avenge his honor during the beginning years of the Covenant. The Arbiter easily faces off against an overwhelming force of Elites, Jackals, grunts and the biggest damn Hunter I've ever seen and easily dispatches an entire army of soldiers while dual welding energy blades. Sadly the Arbiter returns home after soundly defeating the army only to find his friend and wife slaughtered in his home sernding him to finally faces off against the Samurai garbed Elite who betrayed him and killed his beloved wife. Meeting his adversary for the final battle The two battle it out with a final lunge at each other. No fancy foot work no fancy jump, dodge and slash. Just a straight up run at each other. In a shower of blood both fall to their deaths, end story. Not exactly the most original story that's for sure and it's weird seeing Elites without their armor and even stranger to see them in a house type setting talking with human like jaws. Out of the two anime shorts so far this is by far the lesser of the two in my opinion. I expected more from Production I.G.

Weekly Review

And that's the end of another week. That also means only one more full week of November left which also means it's Thanksgiving and Black Friday right around the corner. With that in mind this last week was well even more boring than normal but to spice things up how about a lovely Race Queen from the land of South Korea Hwang Mi Hee.

As for the week due to a change in my schedule I've been working until 8:30am and not getting home until a little before 9am which has really disrupted my personal schedule a bit but the upside is that now I have three days off instead of just two. Of course that meant I could do some catching up on my own things on Friday but decided to visit my Grandma since I haven't in a while and check out if they had gotten anything cool at the Porsche dealership but there wasn't anything cool but I was able to pick up one of Porsche's aftersale calendars which wasn't nearly as cool as last years was. But hey for a free calendar it still rocks. The rest of the weekend was spent watching anime, playing Call of Duty MW2 and hanging out with friends. Pretty much that's all that happened.

For your entertainment this week enjoy the new and improved trailer for the coming soon Trigun movie, yes that rocking funny anime will have a new story for a new movie. Can't freaking wait.

Autocross Nov 8, 2009

And with this event the Autocross season for the Snake River Region SCCA group is at a close. No more autocross until the middle of March weather permitting. There will be a lot stuff happening in the back ground though as the group prepares for next year's season. But all that is good for next year what up this autocross event how did the season end. Well with a smile of course.

First of all this event went back out to the huge South Lot of the Idaho Center in Nampa, ID, where a large and fast course could be laid out. While it was long and fast some said it was also just a bit boring to drive as well. Trade offs I guess. I set up again on the grassy area off course for filming duties and since the roommate had gotten back from SEMA with a rented super-wide angle lens I also took that along to do a bit of testing and what not with it some more in the parking lot.

For an end event I was surprised to see a lot of new faces as well as returning regulars as well. One returning regular had something new this time around. Bright yellow and supercar looking I spied for my first time a Noble...er wait what it's been renamed...oh OK so what is it... What was once a Noble M400 has been renamed to Rossion Q1 looks exactly the same and pretty much is but the importer of the Noble renamed it so there it is anyways I was excited to see something new and different but was said to only be able to get it on film once since the driver only stayed for the morning session and left after lunch.

As usual though it was the IMS class that rocked the autocross the hardest. For it's first year out as a local class for drivers who are out of the novice class but not exactly ready to jump into the larger modified classes just yet. It turned into a great class and became extremely competitive and many drivers will be moving out of that class into their respective classes next year.

With the day over it was time for one last go and the day ended with a three run fun run. Pay a dollar and shag your own cones but pretty much any one still hanging around that has done an autocross before could run their car for fun.

The day ended with the sun setting and everyone having a good time. I had fun filming it and working at getting better at taking action shots and of course editing those pictures. Next year I have plans of my own to add some new equipment and some fun stuff so here's looking to the new year and the new autocross season in March. In the mean time you can check out the videos and pictures from this last event at the following links. It took me a lot longer than usual to finish editing the pictures but I think they turned out the best of the entire season thanks to more playing around with photoshop.
